BHARATAYUDDHA is a term that is used commonly in Indonesia for Kuruksherta War, the climax of the famous epic MAHABHARATA from India. The story revolves around conflict between two families, The Pandawas and The Korawas and ends with a winning for the Pandawas.
BHARATAYUDDHA is the most famous story to be used for wayang play in Java, Indonesia. Thus, I decided to depict the war scene with wayangs as the subjects and included other elements from wayang play to the composition as well.
